There's nothing to send back, but see below, maybe you can get some use out of the "wrong size" 😉 - see below.
PRO TIP:
If the size you have now is just ONE size too big or too small,
hold on to it...
IF IT FEELS TOO LOOSE
Maybe you can wear at night for 24/7 support, or on hot summer days, when feet tend to swell?
Most people prefer a size bigger to sleep with at night anyway so it doesn't wake them up.
(Review our Fit Factors below)
IF IT FEELS TOO TIGHT
Remember, Bunion Booties relax after a few weeks. You may be able to comfortably wear this size if you start slow (1-2 hours per day). Hang on to it and compare it to the one we're about to send you. 🙂
(Review our Fit Factors below while you wait for delivery 🙂
Sometimes you have to try two sizes to know if you have the proper fit. Play around with this size before you make up your mind - as long as it's not 2 sizes too big/small.
Sometimes people even wear the opposite foot Bunion Bootie on their feet (for example, wear a left Bunion Bootie on your right foot), so the seams are on the outside
FIT FACTORS
-
Hot Temperatures
Feet swell when they get warm/hot, this will undoubtedly impact the fit. Many users limit wear time in hot temps, or wear a larger size during hot summer months.
-
Long Days on Your Feet
As with heat, being on your feet for long periods including standing, walking, or running, creates minor swelling in your feet, and may impact the fit.
-
Day or Night Wear
Most people prefer a size larger to wear to bed at night. If it's too snug it tends to wake the wearer up during the night.
-
Foot Shape
Not all feet are equal, including your left & right foot.
Narrow feet versus EEE widths, feet with long toes versus short, all might require an adjustment in sizing for maximized comfort.
-
Bunion Level
Bunion deformity may impact sizing as those with mild bunions (less big toe displacement) might prefer a smaller size than someone with more advanced bunions.
-
Pre-Existing Conditions
Diabetes, prior foot surgeries/injuries can also impact fit. Some like a tight fit, while others can't tolerate it & wear them to protect their bunion from their shoes rubbing.
-
"Break-In Period"
Bunion Booties are expected to relax after the first few weeks of wear, but are not expected to continue to stretch out.
-
Start Slow
We suggest starting with 1-2 hours per day just around the house initially, and working up from there slowly as comfortable.
