No Problem!
Let us send you another size to try!
Online sizing can be tricky, especially when so many factors (below) contribute to the sizing.
Our proprietary material has a bit of stretch but it's not elastic, so its critical to get the best size for your foot, or you'll wonder why you just bought this "weird sock" 🙂
Also, remember it is expected to relax after a few wears, so start with just 1-2 hours per day wear time, and increase as comfortable.Â
Review the fit factors below so you'll understand that going for a long walk on a hot day for your first trial, might not give you the best feel for the fit at the start.
There's no cost to you to try another size. Sometimes you have to try on 1-2 sizes to know which fits best. We get it. 🙂
Pro Tip:Â Before you toss the size you have now, hold on to it...
IF IT FEELS TOO LOOSE
Keep it to wear at night for 24/7 support, or on hot summer days!
IF IT FEELS TOO SNUG
Give it some time - we'll honor any request to try another size within 30 days!
We really want you to experience a proper fit, before you make up your mind about Bunion Bootie 🙂
FIT FACTORS
-
Hot Temperatures
Feet swell when they get warm/hot, this will undoubtedly impact the fit. Many users limit wear time in hot temps, or wear a larger size during hot summer months.
-
Long Days on Your Feet
As with heat, being on your feet for long periods including standing, walking, or running, creates minor swelling in your feet, and may impact the fit.
-
Day or Night Wear
Most people prefer a size larger to wear to bed at night. If it's too snug it tends to wake the wearer up during the night.
-
Foot Shape
Not all feet are equal, including your left & right foot.
Narrow feet versus EEE widths, feet with long toes versus short, all might require an adjustment in sizing for maximized comfort.
-
Bunion Level
Bunion deformity may impact sizing as those with mild bunions (less big toe displacement) might prefer a smaller size than someone with more advanced bunions.
-
Pre-Existing Conditions
Diabetes, prior foot surgeries/injuries can also impact fit. Some like a tight fit, while others can't tolerate it & wear them to protect their bunion from their shoes rubbing.
-
"Break-In Period"
Bunion Booties are expected to relax after the first few weeks of wear, but are not expected to continue to stretch out.
-
Start Slow
We suggest starting with 1-2 hours per day just around the house initially, and working up from there slowly as comfortable.
