Caring for Your Bunion Booties
Because the Bunion Booties & BunionETTE Booties are anchored around the heel, the bunion corrector is able to leverage the entire big toe for just the right amount of correction and does not slip. The fabric is only 0.4mm thin which makes it comfortable to wear underneath socks and in any shoe. Â It is comfortable yet goes undetected by others in most shoes. Although you can (and many do) wear the Bunion Booties barefoot, in order to extend the life of the Bootie we strongly recommend that you only wear them barefoot while sleeping or when in bed or not walking around. We suggest you try to wear socks or shoes when wearing with the Bootie during the day to prevent snagging and wearing of the material. Also taking extra care when putting on and removing the Bootie can help prevent unnecessary stress on the fabric fibers and material bonding. If the Bootie is fitted properly it should never tear while putting on the Bootie. Finally, instead of tossing out your old day wear Bunion Booties, rotate it to wear to bed at night. Then you can start fresh with a new Bunion Bootie to wear during the day!
How to Wear
The Bunion Booties and BunionETTE Booties are both anatomically shaped for either the right or left foot. This product is intended to be worn directly on the skin. The seam should be on the top of the foot, not the bottom. The BunionETTE Bootie is worn the same way but with a toe hood for over the 5th toe as well.
